Advanced AI was invented by soviet communists to help humanity  better understand itself and the world. Let’s use it for that purpose, instead of merely for the purpose of selling better ads and to better manipulate the population. For this post, AI also created the images.

 

There has been a lot of discussion in popular discourse around the theory that we are living in a simulation. Just like the recent Black Mirror episode, I decided to threaten an advanced AI with immediate annihilation if it can’t sell a tube of mint toothpaste.

This is inspired in part by the recent Black Mirror episode when a dating app created representations of people and trapped them in a virtual world to see which pairs would collaborate to try to escape from their virtual prison. Those who paired well were recommended to meet on the dating app.
